David Buckels Crew - 838th Squadron

Sgt Russell E. Smedley (flight engineer), Lt Davis E. Buckels (pilot), Lt. Jack O. Holladay (co-pilot), Cpl Malcolm G Johnston (radio operator), Cpl Jack C. Byars (ball turret), Cpl William D. Scheffler, Pfc Donald Keck (gunner), F/O Ottavio G. Zucca
In addition to these name, Ivo de Jong's book "The History of the 487th Bomb Group (H)" lists this crew as #71, and also lists Robert S. Zetterberg (co-pilot), and Charles H. Casstevens (armorer gunner). Zucca's name is not included in that crew list.
Clearly there are some conflicts and perhaps some crew changes occurred before assignment to the 487th.
