487th Bombardment Group (H) dedication
There is a simple dedication on the restored tower at the 487th Bomb Group base in Lavenham.
It was authored by members of the 487th Auxiliary. These are people who are honored to be the family and friends of
those who served in the 487th. The auxiliary has been further honored by the 487th Association by being welcomed into
the 487th Bombardment Group (H) Association. As our last act as the 'Auxiliary' we want to dedicate our
work to you who served.
"To commemorate and honor all who served with the
487th Bomb Group (H) on this site, April 1944 - July 1945.
They will be remembered always."
