Originally assigned 351st Bomb Group/509BS, transferred to 487th 16-Jul-44. It was used as a 'station hack' to ferry men and equipment between bases. Salvaged 21-May-45 per "The Flying Fortress Story" by Roger Freeman/David Osborne.
